Perfection is sometimes the biggest obstacle to good enough. How many things, in the history of the world, have been destroyed by perfection? Or more specifically, the desire for perfection?

It took me a long time to write my first post here. Yes, I've been busy with school, work, and life. But what really kept me from posting was the nagging of producing something perfect. I wanted to publish the best thing I’ve ever written. An awfully high expectation for my first post to live up to …

I realized that I just needed to say something. Anything. So I took the leap of faith and decided to post this.

So welcome to my blog! I'm at my happiest when I'm writing, and I'm so grateful to have somewhere where I can express myself and prototype my ideas. Please join me on this journey - whoever/wherever you are. Once I figure out how to do it, I'll make sure to enable comments on all my posts so you can engage with me and share your ideas as well. If you haven't checked out my About page, I recommend doing that to get a better idea of who I am.

It will probably make up a totally separate post, but I've been journaling for over four years - almost every night - which inspired me to create this place. Writing helps me get some of my thoughts out and uncover meaning in them. It allows me to design theories about the world around me - about the meaning of life, relationships, significance, insignificance, music, dreams, and everything else that doesn't have an easy explanation. Over the course of my life I have fallen in love with complicated things, because I love theorizing about their purpose and existence. I hardly ever share my ideas with others ... until now.

I can't tell you about what I'm going to write about - not because it's a secret but because I also have no idea what I'm going to write about. Maybe it doesn't matter. Maybe the content itself isn't important - maybe it's the intention (the energy behind the writing) that counts.

Everything I write here will be a deeper insight into how I see the surrounding world. Whenever we describe something external, we are only really describing the internal.

Henceforth, the content of this blog will be as follows:

1%: Perfection

99%: Work in progress

Enjoy :)
